Happy Father's Day

Spring Update! Happy Father’s Day!

Hi! We hope you had a great spring! It is such a beautiful time of year and we just love the energy that spring brings to daily life. That spring energy affected the real estate markets across Canada, as buyers were eager to take advantage of low interest rates and sellers were happy to sell their homes in this hot market. May was a great month as we were excited to host a staycation contest on my instagram page. Nicole Csonka was the Winner of a $300 Staycation at either Dakota Dunes Casino in Saskatoon or Sparkling Hill Resort and Spa in Vernon and a local gift basket featuring some of my favorite local products from Solar Gardens, Karat Chocolate, The Bulk Cheese Warehouse and Rebecca King Fashion House. Watch for another contest coming this Fall!

With Sunday being Father’s day I thought I would provide some advice for you Fathers on yard maintenance.

  1. Inspect driveway paths and paving stone patios for cracks and uneven bricks, repair as necessary. Getting a jump start on fixing cracks in concrete and asphalt before a major problem occurs can save you a lot of money.
  2. If you plan to plant trees this spring, ensure to envision the tree in your space as if it were fully grown making sure to leave room so it doesn’t interfere with fences, roofs or gutters.
  3. With all the rain we’ve experienced this spring inspect your yard for drainage problems, a build up of water in your yard can kill trees, plants and grass and damage wooden structures.

But most importantly I hope you enjoy spending time with your family and have a great Father’s Day!
